Finding Partners with Bavaria

Over the years intensive relations have developed between Bavaria and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), which are also reflected outside the business context in numerous community activities. Over 290 university partnerships and 130 sister city partnerships demonstrate the mutual interest in different cultures and form the basis for harmonious coexistence and transfer of knowledge in Europe.

Moreover, Bavaria’s business ties with countries in Central and Eastern Europe already bear the stamp of a large number of cooperation projects. Together with its partners, the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology supports in particular small and medium-sized companies in establishing joint ventures and business partnerships. Many cooperation events in a wide variety of sectors offer opportunities for sharing information and forging contacts. The Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs and its partners also offer assistance in the targeted search for the right cooperation partners.
