The cross-border business portal is a network consisting of 14 counties and towns in Eastern Bavaria and the 3 districts in West Bohemia. Its aim is to network information and establish both foreign and internal business relations, and to open up markets in the neighboring country. Targeted information on the respective neighboring country is provided in German, Czech and English to help regional entrepreneurs set up successful cooperations and business contacts in the Czech Republic. By working together with a wide variety of institutions in Bavaria and the Czech Republic, contact can be established with specific partners and neighboring markets can be tapped more quickly. The portal offers the opportunity to identify the potential economic focal points of the common economic area of Eastern Bavaria and West Bohemia. No charge is made for entering information and using the portal.

The United Scene Group e.V. is a group of dedicated artists, initiatives, clubs and associations, political and economic representatives from the region of the border triangle comprising Germany, the Czech Republic and Austria. In the field of regional development policy, its goal is to improve intercultural competences in various learning centers (schools, cultural establishments, business enterprises, etc.) and to use cultural projects as a means for facilitating stimulating encounters.
Vision and Guiding Principle:
Culture describes the manner in which people shape their lives. This means a history they can handle with deliberation. It also means their efforts to pursue a meaningful life. And it means that such a life can be accomplished in a wide variety of ways based of different sets of values and standards. Within the scope of their cultural forms of existence, we have developed multifaceted methods of approaching the world: aesthetic and scientific, emotional and cognitive, practical and theoretical, rational and spiritual. New concepts are constantly being evolved and new ideas generated over and over again. This applies as much to the individual, as it does to groups of people. Understood in this broad-based context, the span of culture extends from artistic production all the way to everyday life, encompassing perceptive, action-based and symbolic forms of communication.
USG e.V. has set itself the task of seeking and ensuring recognition of cultural diversity and plurality in Lower Bavaria in the border triangle between Germany, the Czech Republic and Austria.
