Karily Diamond GmbH opens new production plant for colored diamonds in Garching

Zeil: “Bavaria still a strong location for high-tech production”

MUNICH/GARCHING The Russian company Karily Diamond GmbH is opening a new production plant in Garching-Hochbrück with the aim of substantially stepping up its production capacity for the finishing of colored diamonds. At its new company headquarters in downtown Munich, a new showroom also marks the kickoff of international marketing of the firm’s own brand Reger Diamond. According to Bavaria’s Economics Minister Zeil, this latest recruitment confirms two decisive factors for Bavaria: ”Bavaria offers an attractive business environment for companies with innovative technologies. And Munich is also a particularly lucrative market, especially when it comes to products in the top price range.” Production will be starting this month with 8 new employees. More staff are to be taken on in the medium term. “We chose Bavaria, because it provides the highly qualified pool of employees we need for our technology that is unmatched anywhere in the world”, commented Vladislav Reger, owner of the brand Reger Diamond. “What is more, Munich offers enormous potential for our products and makes an optimal starting point for establishing our brand in Europe”, Reger added. Founded this year, Karily Diamond GmbH intends to establish a new brand in the gemstone market with Reger Diamond. The company produces exquisite jewelry of its own design. Only natural gemstones are used, whose color has been changed by the patented process. What makes this process so unique is that only precious stones found in their natural state are used. Because of their rarity value, natural, colored diamonds are highly sought-after and extremely valuable. The aim of the investment is to achieve an annual production of about 100,000 carats.
